Came up as "Apple Inc" on caller ID. Foreign sounding person said "Apple" got messages from my computer about problems with my I-cloud account and needed to fix them. Asked lots of questions - do I have a computer or laptop / what brand / which browser do I use. Told me to type in an address. Screen showed consent form to allow them to remote into my computer. When I refused he was all like "why not?". I told him I didn't even have an I-cloud account. After the third time of him saying "really???" and me saying correct, he just hung up. |
