NEUTRAL	NEUTRAL almost 7 years ago by John This is the same "student loan forgiveness" scammers that have been calling me literally every day for the last 2 weeks. I call them scammers because they should take a hint that I don't want to talk to them after the first 10 times they called! This time, they called and left a message on my voicemail, which sounded like a live person, rather than the usual robo-call: "Hi, this is Jackie Armstrong again. This is my second time giving you a call regarding your federal student loan. I am the director for the student loan forgiveness program. Um, this will be my last attempt to contact you. Um, this way you can actually have the ability to get your loans forgiven. Um, again, this is your federal student loans, not private. However, I do need to hear back from you within the next 48 hours. 213-784-4794. Again, 213-784-4794. If I don't hear back from you, I will have to submit this as a rejection not as a loan forgiveness which means you would have to pay the full balance back plus interest with your servicer. So this is the last attempt. We look forward to hearing back from you. Bye bye." They called my cell phone, which is on the FTC and State of FL Do Not Call List.
