I thought I was speaking to a nonprofit about donating money to the Police & Sheriff Fund. There was a prepared script about Democrats wanting to defund the police. This voice/man asked if i could donate $150 and I said not at this time. He realizes that times are rough and asked me if I were able to contribute $20 to "save an officers life." I eventually said ...yes. The voice asked if I felt comfortable about the $20 and I told him, "No, but that I could manage." He said thank you and abruptly hung up. |
