Total Scam, they called and stated they were going to garnish my wages, they were talking to my husband. They had no account details and when my husband started asking questions they stated it was a federal matter. Complete scam.

Called spouse and stated that it was important federal information that I contact them back because they are going to garnish my wages if I don't. It's total spam/scam.

Received a call telling me to pay or they were going to send my information to the court in my county. I told them not to call me and that I knew this was a scam, they hung up.

this number 888-985-4031 left a msg stating i have a file with their office and to call them back asap to avoid prison time, i called them back to find out what was going on, whoever answere me did not want to give me his name, or supervisors name or contact phone number, all he would say was that he works for MAC, he then said if i was Mindy Blankblank, i said yes he said great i have been looking for you, i received your file yesterday with a balance of 975.37 that needs urgent attention to avoid you going to prison, he said if didnt pay on this account today that he would have to send my file to the local courthouse for proceedings where they will send out a sheriff to arrest me, he also said the prison sentence for none payment is 7 years max. SCAMM SCAMM SCAMM!!!

Did not answer but received a voice mail. No company name stated, just said to call 888-985-4031 "before action is taken". Also stated "federal law prohibits disclosure".

Media Collections trying to collect on EZ Corp payday loans: dba EZ Money Payday Loans, EZ loan services, EZ Pawn Payday loans, EZ Payday advance. Don't fall for this. The EZ Corp company was investigated for fraud. They were told not to collect their payday loans, to pay back consumers that had already paid extra on the loans, and not to sell to third party collection companies.
