I called JP Morgan directly, (the number on the back of the card) They will never call you to offer you a reduced rate, only via mail. This is a phishing scam. BEWARE!!! The number will come up on your phone as JP Morgan, but it is not.

called me pretending to be JPMorgan Chase on caller ID but then mentioned Experion but couldnt confirm who I was and tried to get me to talk by saying they could lower my credit card interest rate

I have no business with Chase and so I ignored it.

I just received a call from this number and I googled while I was on the phone, they asked if I had any questions and I asked why are they scammers and would their mother be proud.

Number showed Chase, but caller had a very strong SW Asia accent. Difficult to understand. My credit balance is within limits, and payments are UTD. I've had no problems with Chase website. I told the gentleman that I have no credit cards and hung up. I DON"T SPEAK TO ANYONE THAT CALLS ABOUT FINANCE MATTERS, UNLESS I INITIATE THE CALL.

Caller ID: JPMorgan Chase. Wanted to know which CC has the most balance to give me the best interest rate. They couldn't verify who I was so I hung up.

This is a callback number from Chase. If you get in the queue and choose the "we'll call you back in the order received instead of staying on hold," this is the number Chase will call from.

This is an official number for JP Morgan, Chase bank, technical support department. I had open the case using the number on the back of my Chase credit card. The person who called me back, updating the case, called back from this number, he verified everything that I asked him and was obviously who he said he was.

Said it was Chase. It wasn't.
