Called attempting to gather information to reduce the interest rate on a Chase card. Definitely bogus

Supposedly Experian gave them information on my credit card and excessive interest rate and they could reduce it to 6%. Lies from the git go. They wanted to know what my total debt was as if I had 3000 minimum i. Credit card ebt they could change the rate. When I kept saying I didn’t know what my cc debt was and didnt think it was that high, the call was disconnected. And as they used a number from Chase and changed the identified name for the caller id, Beware. Phone call to Chase to insure my card was safe they assured me (as I already knew) that this offer would have come in a letter. ALWAYS!! Call the card company. None of them will make a phone call to change things. My next call is to experian

just another scammer caller id says chase it sounds official even saying the call is recorded and asked if i charged 288 at home depot. they wanted to mail me a new card and i said this is not right and i will go to my branch and hung up my bank did not show any attempted charges from there but the scammer knew my name and probably guessed i was a chase customer and thought they could scam me.

Number comes up as JP Morgan Chase - wanting to reduce the interest rate on credit cards. Kept asking my total amount of debt.

Phone number pops up as chase but it's not, they call asking for the "owner of this number" and not even your name to reduce your interest rates

Claimed to be from Experian wanting to reduce my credit card debt. When pressed with own logic (I.E. why I needed to "prove" my amount of credit card debt and how they could "prove" I was who I said I was as they couldn't even provide my name) they got flustered and hung up.

These are fraud calls , the guy was faking accent and and mentioned some fact from Experian credit rating , when I asked what you want , told answer my questions only and disconnected. Don't fall for these thieves.

Got a call from this number with JPMorgan Chase showing up on callerID section. Wanted to lower interest rates on credit cards. Kept phrasing questions where my response should be a "Yes", i refused to reply with a 'yes' but with 'no sure'. i said i don't have a JPMorgan Chase card on which to lower the rate. caller said 'it didn't matter, we can lower rates on other cards'. I said then go ahead and lower them. caller said we have to talk about them. i said i am not talking in detail about my cards. this call sounds like spam. naturally he denied it was spam.

This is a TOTAL scam!! If these folks were really a credit card company, and knew anything via Experian, as they say, about my credit, they wouldn't be asking so much information. Please be careful

Keep getting calls from this number that presents as Chase on ID. A VM was previously left saying they’ve been trying to reach me about savings for my account. I have no acct with Chase. These ruses remain lucrative from victims who unwisely engage with these crooks. NEVER give out any personal information over the phone. Banks do not make these kind of calls.

Trying to scam credit card information or personal info to gain access to your credit. (Shows as Chase when they call. This is not Chase) - Do not share any information with them.

They left a vm that sounded like legit JP Morgan Chase, but what caught my attention was it said my voice may be used to authenticate. I called it to test and intro sounded like a Chase number. Scary how close they can get to sounding real and a legitimate company.
