SAFE	SAFE almost 3 years ago by CMM They should not be leaving automated calls on Christmas Eve--no U.S. government agency, until this year, would ever have thought of doing such a thing--but otherwise they appear to be legitimate. They left a message about the U.S. government's benefit that is available to help you pay your internet bill. I've been receiving that benefit for more than six months, having signed up as soon as I found out about it. You do not have to go one month without internet in order to get it, but you do need to be receiving some kind of public assistance already, such as LEAP, or Supplemental Social Security.
