Received Call that I was awarded a FEderal Grant in the amount of $9000 just needed to verify some personal information which I did not give any out. He gave me his personal employee #2027500861 gave name of Robert, his extension 102 Sounded like a scam could hear telemarketers in the back ground, did not give them any information. I hung up on them.

This number has called me numerous times asking for my minor son saying, that they're some Federal Government Student something. As soon as I tell them that it's not him & ask who's calling they hang up. I've called this number back a few times, after they continuously hang up before I can get anything fully out of my mouth. I finally yelled at one of them & told them that they better not hang up again & to take me off their call list. The dude with a very heavy accent proceeded to ask me, if I knew where I was calling? That they were the FBI & that the number was a hot line to report things. But, then he proceeded to tell me even further that they were investigating my area & asked for my personal info (which I did not give). I went off on the guy & told him that they are NOT the FBI that I can hear all the telemarketers on the phones in the noisy background behind him. I told them to stop calling my number & hung up. If they were really the FBI they sure as hell wouldn't have told me so & on top of that, telling me that they were doing an investigation in the area. Smh.

Received a call that I was entitled to a cash award by the government, sounded like a scam

they said they worked for the government and i was entitled for a grant.

they say they are the government and you are being rewarded with a grant for paying taxes on time
