They want you to answer "yes" after "can you hear me" so they can use your approval to do something (when you say yes) like some kind of purchase, etc. Connie has a lot of different phone numbers. You block it and it comes in on a different number. Call back number is not active. All they want is for you to say yes somewhere in the conversation.
