I received someone claiming to be a Sales/Promotions rep for Spectrum seeing if I was overpaying for my services because there have been many persons calling in indicating being charged too much. They asked me if I was at one home address (and that was not correct, past home address.) they had to give me to a manager and he said that person was new and did not know where to look for my current address (my home USPS address where I get my snail-mail from Spectrum bill - not email.) So the manager told me another address. which was correct. Also to verify my birth day/month (not year, and he told me the day/mon they had and it was my actual.) He said when we would go through new promotions they would have to cancel my current account and start a new one for the new channel package. I called the spectrum number I had and talked to 2 real representatives, and they said Spectrum does not solicit sales/promotions via a phone call, but would only put offers in my normal email , or, via the USPS billing envelope as part of my bill. While I was on the phone w/ Spectrum this number 855-784-1119 called me again twice within 15 min.
