I'm in winnipeg, canadian phone plan. robot voice in thick chinese (i think chinese? i'm not sure, sorry!) accent. they immediately left a message, which is a good sign of a robocall because no one could speak that quickly without it being a copy&paste robocall message. No company name or number to call or refer to, no identification number given to me to give to Visa Support, no website name to seek help on, nothing. there was only the threat of "We will cancel your Visa today." which is definitely crap. then they repeated everything in chinese (again, i think it was chinese). If it really was Visa calling me, there would be far more information to make sure I know they're real. It is scary though. It's understandable how people can get sucked in.
