Been calling for more than a year, they stop for a while then start all over again. IT IS NOT WINDSTREAM. Sadly we have no way to make them stop. I pay the bill and they annoy me for free. I never answer - they never stop

We have received 3 calls from this number so far this week, and every single time, I have called Windstream immediately afterward to report and/or verify it. **Not one person** in the organization, including an alleged "supervisor," can confirm that this is a legitimate outreach by them. Further, they note that I am, in fact, on Windstream's own do-not-call list for internal marketing purposes, which should have stopped anyone working for Windstream from calling us. The "supervisor" seemed far more interested in pawning me off on the FCC's 800 number, which would be just about as useless as Windstream's customer service at this point (not to mention, counterintuitive - if it is a Windstream number, does the supervisor really want someone to report her own employer to the FCC for violating the Do Not Call list, as well as their own noted policies? Not very bright for a "supervisor.") So far, my reports have supposedly been escalated to the aforementioned supervisor (unhelpful and uninterested), the "Care Team" (no evidence of its existence), and a "team leader" (unknown and unheard from), for investigation. Thus far, I have received absolutely no response, nor a call back Windstream (the real ones) with any information whatsoever. I can only conclude that **IF** this is a legitimate marketing effort by Windstream, it is one of the most poorly thought out means of encouraging "customer loyalty" ever conceived (harassing and angering your own customers does NOT invite loyalty or repeat business). If it is a scam being perpetrated in Windstream's name, the company itself is apparently completely unbothered by the prospect, and not inclined to take any action on their end to look into it. You can answer if you want, but I wouldn't. Frankly, at this point, I'm not even sure we're going to stay with Windstream.

Was offered free isp speed upgrade. Took shellique's info. Told her I would verify her offer with ws customer service. Latoya at WS customer service said WS does not cold call, let alone about free upgrades. So this number, which comes up "windstream" on ID... is not windstream. The callback number I was given is 1-844-504-6265. Called to tell them I had informed Windstream of the scam, and that I was reporting them for their scam. Latoya said she was forwarding info to corporate so that they could get involved. I recommend everyone call Windstream to file their own complaint. These scammers probably use their equipment to phish/pirate your information.
