Screen was taken over with a repeated automated message to call this number and not to restart. The call was answered with no identification and I was told to just restart and he would explain how to fix it. I asked how they can identify they are microsoft and the man told me to just trust him because if he wasnt microsoft he would have asked for money. I closed the browser and it disappeared. Attempted to call the number again and no answer.

got one today, scared the crap out of me. Took over my PC, rebooted, it came back and I called the number, played along with them, they wanted me to let them take over my computer to fix it

Number came with fake Pay Pal e-mail that had order# and all other info. Stated a purchase was made and if not you call this number right away. Checked Pay Pal account and did not find this activity.

Received Amazon charge email for an Macbook of $1576.04 from a Sanjay Vayyg. If I didn't make this charge I was to call this number.

Number came with a bogus Amazon email purchase.

The email that went to approx 500 other users for a purchase i never made, requested i should contact this number 1844-475-4137 to report this event the number is to (Amazon LLC & Microsoft) ?

I received a shipping notice message that a purchase has been made and that the delivery date is 08 25 2020. The "invoice" states that if i did not place the order ". . you might be a victim of hacking or ID theft. Call our microsoft (yes, "microsoft is not displayed in upper & lower case) support partners immediately at (1 844 475 4137."
