Scam, don't answer

they are threatening to contact 'proper' authorities if I don't call them back or if I know the whereabout of me! I blocked them. They are nothing but bully scam artists trying to get money that is for nothing about me. they can burn in the flames of hell for all I care...If I contact the proper authorities they probably would be scared because they are scammers...

Called today, 1/3/2017, looking for my husband. Stated that there was a “formal complaint” against him and if I didn’t call back they would contact the “proper authorities”. I didn’t call back because my husband’s credit is clear of any past due/old debt/charge offs. The only reason that I answered is because we have people in that area. I blocked the number.

Just got a call and my husband did too saying they were involved in collecting a debt and if I knew the whereabouts of me (duh) that I was to call back immediately and that the next step is to call the authorities. The man that left the voicemail also left the same message on my husband's phone. Who are they to threaten me with authorities? Bring it on. I haven't ever had a payday loan or owe anyone money. Losers!

I just received a call from 843 534 5825 as well today 1/2/18 -- Called themselves a mediation office looking for coincidentally for me (you know if I knew where i was) and that If I knew where to reach me to give me the following number to call: 877 230 0656 -- Spoke with a Mark who claimed they were from GAFF or GAFS. They claimed I owe money to some pay day loan service. I've never taken out a pay day loan in my entire life. ripped them a new hole and hung up on them. I have been getting calls like these for the last few years. I really wish it would stop. I can't believe there is nothing that can be done about this. I'm not even sure what to do at this point. Do I really have to go to the police for these attempted identity thefts?

They called me and said they were looking for my son. The call is from SC and since my son lives there I answered the phone. It was a recorded message asking me to call back. I did call and they claimed they were a mediator to collect a debt for my son. They used the name GAFS Mediation. I got as much information as I could before they tried to hang up on me. They went as far as giving me my son's COMPLETE Social Security #. Now I have my local authorities checking into this as Identity Theft, and my son has to file the necessary paperwork. This so-called mediator also called my daughter and son-in-law. Please beware, they want a credit/debit card number so they can let the original creditor know that there is a payment arrangement in effect.
