Same as above. Called and scared my 95 year old grandmother.

Same John Lewis as others report. Multiple calls in the last year. I called back numerous times, rarely did I connect with a live human, and when I did that person hung up. Some type of scam for sure.

Totally a scam and all they do is call everyday from different numbers with threats of notifying proper authorities. They need to be shut down and fined.

This person has been calling my mother in law, sister in law and my husbands aunt looking for him. Threatening if we don’t call back that the authorities will be notified. Scared the crap out of us until I read all these complaints. This person or persons need to be caught and charged.

I keep getting calls from this number, sounds menacing and evil, when you call back you get hung up on. I want this person charged with harassment as he call a other members of family and makes it seem you are criminal. I'm 55 years old and have never had any legal or another problems, it's unfair yo upset people like that, if like 5 minutes alone with this idiot. He's obviously a coward

Keeps calling my home and family members home stating there is a formal complaint against a person. Will use the same first name of the person but uses their maiden last name the the last name of their first marriage then the last name of their 2nd marriage. But after the recording you wait to chat to a person as soon as they know there is a live person on the phone they hang up. SCAM and needs to be blocked by FCC.

They keep calling and leaving the same message. When i tried calling back no live person answered. mail box was full. will be reporting them.

Hello, I have tried to block these people from calling my phone. They call my phone as well as family members with the same last name. It's a robo call that's threaten you to call the number back or they will take further actions with athories. I don't know what I can do more to stop these calls from my phone. I do not owe anyone, I have not been in any kind of trouble with the law. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

John Lewis is the name given by this robocall looking for my husband and threatening to “contact the proper authorities”. Contact away on your “formal complaint”. This is the second number with the same message to call us and our family members in two days. It’s a scam. My husband has no past/bad debt and is combat disabled so has no tax liability. We block the numbers and warn our family.

Has called me and also my daughter. Only leaves messages. States there is a complaint about me. Threatens further action.

This is a scam they are calling anyone associated with me when I tell them to mail me a certified letter of what is owned if anything they say o sorry will remove your number

I have blocked them from my cell, but they are now calling me at my place of employment. It's so ridiculous.

Started receiving calls on both landline and cell from the 5825 and the 5823 numbers about a month or so ago. Same song 10th verse with these scammers; just a area code and prefix change. Have reported this to the FTC yet continue to receive these stupid frustrating calls. I am also on a DO NOT CALL LIST which does no good what so ever.

John Lewis has called me almost everyday. I try to call back and the voicemail is full. Called twice today and caught a human who answered the phone G A S S then hung up when she heard my voice. I blocked the 5825 number and then they called back from 5823. With this many complaints I believe this is a scam.

John Lewis leaves a voicemail looking for the where abouts of someone you know and if you don’t call back he is threatening to notify authorities. He doesn’t state the company he works for or what authorities he is referring to. Seems fishy to me

Scam calls - keep getting calls saying they will notify authority if I do not call back. I do not know anyone in that state or by this phone number.

Left a message that they were looking for contact info on me and that there was a complaint filed against me. He said his name was John Lewis, but did not identify the company that he is affiliated with. Sounds fishy to me.

This number keeps calling and leaving messages for someone I knew 25 years ago. He has been dead for 2 years now.

This is a scam that called me. I never called them back. I don't know anyone that lives in Charleston South Carolina. They say if I don't call back they will get the authority's after me. Please block this number.
