I received the call with a recording that stated that they were from "The National Treasury" and there was a tax judgment against me, and to call the following number: 843-401-5334. I called back (knowing that it was a scam, but wanting to see who'd answer), and got a man with a Middle Eastern accent that answered "This is the Internal Revenue Service". I said "right - the IRS?" - laughed at him and hung up. I tried to call back, because...Just maybe a man, with an accent, from the IRS, that lives in South Carolina - really IS from the IRS and I need to give him all my money to a prince/sultan that has won a lottery in Brunei...but can't cash the ticket because he's not a citizen of the USA. Seriously??? I tried to call back again and I guess the IRS has blocked my number. I'm totally puzzled...
