PHONE BOT SCAM : Calling from "Headquarters" says "you have 4 serious allegations pressed against your name and police will arrest within 24 hrs." alternate version says "IRS has notified them of 4 serious allegations and police will arrest soon / we're going to file a lawsuit against you" ALL VERSIONS are robo call phone scams. DO NOT RETURN THIS CALL ! This is heating up due to tax filing time so beware. Neither the IRS nor any legit law enforcement agency works this way. The same messages seem to be coming from various different numbers. ALL of them are FRAUDS. |
