The caller is using a VOIP landline from Bandwidth.com to anonymize himself. He is offing home financing. I believe "Jason" is running a Nigerian phishing scam. He ignores the "do not call" registry. He also uses public homeowner records filed with LA county to look up names, addresses, and numbers. He then calls you to make an offer of a low interest rate in an attempt to get your SSN, driver's license number, birthdate, etc. |
