Hiya said Scam Likely, so I picked it up and put it on mute. I then heard someone say "Hello, John?" so I thought it was a real call. A real person, Glenda Smith, asking if I wanted to sell my house at (my address). She said she's with a group of private investors. I asked for her phone number and she wouldn't give it to me because they use a random dialer. I asked for her phone number and she wouldn't give it to me because they use a random dialer. I said my number is on the do not call list and it's illegal for her to call me. I then hung up. Even if this was a real house buyer, why would I do business with someone who randomly calls me on a Saturday afternoon? My number is on the FTC and State of FL Do Not Call list AND she called on a Saturday, which I thought was illegal.
