WAS JUST READING THE COMMENTS OF OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE GOT THE SAME CALL. IT SEEMS IT IS NOT A 800 TYPE TOLL FREE NUMBER BUT COMES FROM SOME LITTLE CITY IN HAWAII. MAYBE THE FBI OR FTC, COULD CONTACT THEIR AGENTS IN HAWAII AND GO SHUT THESE IDIOT SCAMMERS DOWN?

GOT A CALL FROM A LOCAL CELL NUMBER, IT IS GOOD TO KNOW THAT AMAZON FRAUD DEPARTMENT HAS A CELLPHONE HERE IN MY LITTLE CITY IN LOUISIANA. IT SAID I HAD A CHARGE OF $990.99 AND IF I DID NOT ORDER THE ITEM TO CALL TOLL FREE 808-320-2239 AMAZON FRAUD DEPARTMENT TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES.

Received a recorded call on 9-2-2021 stating there was a charge on my Amazon Default card for $979.99 for an iPhone 11. It went on to say if I made this purchase, just hang up & it would be delivered to me. If not, call 808-320-2239 for their fraud department. I called the number but before giving any information, I was suspicious & hung up. I called my bank & checked my Amazon account. The bank indicated it was almost certainly a scam & they were phishing for personal information. I was extremely relieved to find there were no charges or activity. BEWARE!!! THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!

Called me 9-2-2021 recording stating charge to my Amazon Default for $979.99 and if I made purchase, just hang up and it will be delivered to me. If not, call 808 320 2239 for their fraud dept. I see others have rec'd same phone call with SAME amount charged. Will these idiots never give up? Reporting it to FTC I don't have an Amazon account!!!.

Claimed to be amazon customer support questioning an order for $979.99, it was supposedly charged on my default card. They stated this 808 number to be the number for their fraud control support department. Checked my credit card AND amazon accounts, and was relieved to find no such activity. Did NOT call the number they gave! This is a scam! Beware!
