Claim I owe a payday loan the call was from Cuevas Jones LLC. I never applied for a payday loan she said her name was Michelle, Michelle won't call me no more I told her to go f**** herself.

Well I called the number and spoke with Jessica, same thing she was very polite,however I spoke with a man who was very rude. He transferred me to Jessica who reassured me that this was in fact a true case. I paid $750 settlement offer and was given receipts and my release letter that had my case number and file number on it. I took it to the State Attorneys office here in Pittsburgh and they informed me that this was a true document, and I did have a pending check charge. So I don't know maybe I was lucky but I'm happy I did pay.

Received a call from Jessica Stewart. She stated I owed $1,060.00 but could settle for $550.00 to make the lawsuit go away and receive no more calls. I told her to call back tomorrow to set up a payment arrangement. I've blocked this number. I immediately checked it out after hanging up with Jessica.

She had my father's social security number. She identified herself as the "responding officer" and alleged that my father had written a fraudulent check and that there was a lawsuit against him that she could make go away for a large sum of money. My father is "old school" and uses cash only so I knew this information was incorrect. It was when I got on the phone and questioned her that she presented me with the social security numbers of my two nephews, ages 9 and 12, and said that she was now looking for them because they had defaulted on a loan. Obviously, I was now extremely suspicious and became angry when she hung up on me. I did a bit of research. This phone number comes back with no physical address, no website, and basically no record of a legitimate existence. However, there are over 25 complaints against this company. Furthermore, I contacted the Business Licensing Department of Richmond, VA and they have no record of this business at all. I was advised to contact the Richmond Police Department and they, too, said that this has all the markings of a scam. So, I called MRP back 7 times and was hung up on every single time. I finally had my wife call from her cell phone and Jessica hurled racist slurs (we are of Mexican descent) and threatened to call immigration services on my father (we are also American) and hung up again. If my father hadn't handed over the phone, I am afraid that this fraudulent company would have gotten more information from him so that they could scam him out of money.

This number called regarding outstanding check loans. I have never taken any check loans out online or store front. They tried to get me to pay six hundred dollars to alleviate pursuit of a lawsuit from their creditor Direct Cash Loans 877-420-6024. I strongly suggest investigating this, they have a lot of personal information, could have been a leak of information from experian or mass sell of information to this company.
