It was answered during the first ring by a heavily accented mid-eastern male trying to use a laughably stereotypical white 1990s frat boy nickname. I hung up immediately - no business answers that quickly! I went to the apple store the next day & made an appointment to have them check out my iPad. Then, when I returned home, I cleared the web history which surprisingly unlocked Safari.

I was very suspicious and called the real Apple number. Apple verified this was a phishing scam and help me fix my locked iPad.
