I am hard of hearing and have a daughter named Elizabeth. I thought they were calling about HER student loans and I passed the callback number to my daughter to call them. Then I searched the number here and found out they were callling themselves Elizabeth so I called my daughter back and told her it was a scam.

I'm just giving you a call in regards to your school loan and I do have a prequalified here for the updated forgiveness program and possibly even loan discharge. It is imperative that we go over the details just as soon as possible because it does look like your status is going to expire soon but I will go ahead and keep it in pending status for you for now but I just need to hear from you soon. I have no student loans!!!

Interesting that they need to hear from you "soon" in the voicemail. No dates mentioned, just a vague sense of urgency. Classic scam tactic. I also have never had a student loan.

Says they are from student advisor and the government flagged my name as having a school loan. The call actually came from 855-728-1128
