I was trying to add less than $3 from my bank to my Venmo account and it got declined, figured it was fraud prevention and then sure enough I got a call from this number to verify the transaction. After the call, I was able to make the transaction. This is safe.

Text message and two phone calls from this number to different phones in my house impersonating the fraud division of my bank. They had multiple transactions information and a partial card number of mine. The bank said it was NOT them that contacted me. Spooky how they had so much diversified information on my transactions at different POS locations. These are not your average phishers or scammers. They are OSINT-technique-aware, probably hackers.

I called my credit union and they verified that their fraud detection unit had called me from this number.

Said fraud was detected by my credit union. I called my Credit Union and they did not call me and there was no fraud detected on my accounts.

Automated voice claiming to be the fraud dept of my credit union. Robo-voice knew my name and the credit union name. I did not interact with the call and hung up. My credit union knows nothing about this call.

It was my credit union calling to verify a purchase.

But this per- recorded message keeps calling. I keep blocking. Not talking to a real person, they don't say who they are. Just give me your debt card #'s
