I called the Microsoft US and Canada support number and the call developed a bad connection The so called microsoft tech represented himself as a microsoft employee from garden city California. The number he had me call for a better connection came out of port st Lucie Florida. I turned over my computer's control to him so he could help me reinstall microsoft office for students. What he did was give me a bullshit spiel about trojan programs attached to my computer and tried to sell me a virus protection program for one year for 365.00. He also installed a spy program on my computer and said that he gave this to me for free. I scrubbed my computer after we hung up and told him that I did not have the finances to defray this cost. This is the second time this happened to bbn me with a philipino microsoft tech. Be cautious
