My elderly next door neighbor received a call from a man claiming to be with DirectTV/AT&T. He said the man had an E. Indian accent, sounded just like a man he had spoken to in the past who called him “Mr Ray”, using his first name incorrectly as his last name. (Incidentally this is not his real name). The man got him to give his credit card information to service his satellite and other TV/Video equipment for a $299 fee; but that he would get a $25/monthly bill reduction for the next 24 months resulting in him netting $300 for “..his trouble.” He gave him 747-251-5671 and told him to “..ask for ‘the Kingsway Dept’ if he has any questions, or any further equipment problems.”

Computer & technical support was reported by a user from West End via FTC.
