someone called my office asked to speak with me and hung up, a guy with an Indian accent and the number rang busy when I tried to call back

Calls all during the day but will not say anything

Guy called my work asked if this was __ I said yes and they hung up.

Called work and asked for a certain employee by first and last name. Then the caller hung up.

Same thing happened to me....called and ask if this was (my name) and hung up.

Just got a call. Same this. Once I verified my first and last name, he asked if this was my direct line. I said “yes”, can I ask what this is regarding? Then he hung up. I’m worried he was just looking for me to say “Yes” to something that he will use in a way to try to steal my identity or something similar. Has anyone noticed anything suspicious on your credit report after this call?

Called and ask if this was (my name) and hung up.

Same thing he called asked for me by name. Said how are you then hung up.

Gentleman with a thick Indian accent called asking for an employee who no longer works here. I told him that the gentleman was no longer with the company. He responds with "Can I have an email address for (former employee's name)?" I repeated myself by saying that he is no longer with the company so I do not have that information. Gentleman seemed confused and then repeated what I just said and then asked if he was calling (my company name). I repeated that yes, it was the company, and then he goes "Yes? Yes? Why yes?" I repeated AGAIN that yes, it is (company name) and he goes. "Oh okay.... thank you," and hangs up. I don't know what the call was regarding or who was on the other end, but they need to never call back again. Placed this number on my "Do not answer" list.

Called asking for a specific person in a certain Department. Insisted they work for our company. I didn't know the name and he kept insisting he talk to them. Finally he hung up.

Called multiple times in a row and immediate after one another. Left no messages. Hung up too quickly to pick up, so likely did not allow to roll over to message machine. Know no person or business from this area code. Caller ID name was not a name but a different number (that is the caller ID "name" (comprised of numbers only) did not match the number that was calling.)
