3 calls ask for you then hangs up did it 3 times to verifiy name

Male with heavy accent called my personal work line, which I never give out, and asked for me by my last name, then first name (in reverse order). When I said "this is", they hung up. Will be making complaint with FCC.

This person called my office and has a very strong accent. He also said my name incorrectly. I asked why he was calling, he did not answer my question. He then asked for the proper spelling of my name. When I asked him again why he was calling and what company he was with, he hung up. I've been getting a lot of calls like this ever since my credit cards were hacked. This world is a crazy place we live in these days. These people need to get real jobs!

Called the 888-number behind our phone tree at work ( i.e. not a real number associated w my name in anyway), asked for me - but got my name very wrong (my name is hypenated, and the person asked for HALF of my name, which told me immediately that the person doesn't know me or work with me in a legitimate capacity. I deflected before verifying that the person was already talking with me, and asked who was calling. They insisted on talking to me, and when I finally said, "You're speaking with her, and how did you get this unregistered number," immediately hung up. I filed an FTC complaint and immediately blocked the number on all lines at my office.
