TrackerControl allows to monitor and control hidden data collection in apps. TrackerControl allows users to monitor and control the widespread, ongoing, hidden data collection in mobile apps about user behaviour ('tracking'). To detect tracking, TrackerControl combines the power of the Disconnect blocklist, used by Firefox, and our in-house blocklist is used, created from analysing ~2 000 000 apps! Additionally, TrackerControl supports custom blocklists. This approach - reveals the companies behind tracking, - allows to block tracking selectively, and - exposes the purposes of tracking, such as analytics or advertising. The app also aims to educate about your rights under Data Protection Law, such the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Under the hood, TrackerControl uses Android's VPN functionality, to analyse apps' network communications locally on the Android device. This is accomplished through a local VPN server, to enable network traffic analysis by TrackerControl. No root is required, other VPNs or Private DNS are not supported. No external VPN server is used, to keep your data safe! TrackerControl even protects you against DNS cloaking, a popular technique to hide trackers in websites and apps. The Following comes from the NoMoRobo help desk: Here's why you're getting calls from 608-371-6666 (NOMO): To ensure that we don't block important calls made by humans, when a suspected robocaller calls you, we answer the call and play the following message to them: Click HERE If the caller successfully enters the random number (technically called a CAPTCHA), we send the call back to you but we change the Caller id to 608-371-6666 (NOMO). If we didn't do this, the call would get caught in an endless loop. Here's an example. Let's say that Shady Charity, Inc is making some calls to ask for donations. Their phone number is 800-555-0100 and, of course, it's blacklisted. When they call, they'll hear the message asking them to type in a random number but, since they have live people making the calls, they're able to get through. You'll first get a call from 800-555-0100 and then it will stop after one ring (because we answered it). After a slight delay (while the worker types the random number) you'll get another call (it'll be the same Shady Charity worker) but this time, the Caller ID will show as 608-371-6666.

The number 717 333 4629 called and was hung up on but was, within seconds, followed by 608 371 6666 showing NoMoRobo calling. They're obviously able to trick the NoMoRobo business somehow.

Harassing, saying no supervisor, I ask who he is looking for, no name. guy has a mid eastern Asia or India voice and don't speak English dialog very will so I told him I'm recording him so I can have advance that not to call back and put me on no call list. he never gave me a resound why he call but trying to personal info from me so that why I didn't give him any info and record him. He hang up, thirty minutes he call back with another number but same voice so I told him all my call et recorded for my safety.

Sounded like a robocall saying we won a prize and to call back at 876-442-0379. Name given was Michael Stewart.

First came in as a robocall which was blocked - then re-dialed as a non-robo. I answered, told them no they couldn't talk with anyone at this number and not to call again.

This number is the number for ROBO. When a blocked number goes into their system a message is played which allows the caller - if a real person - to enter a code, which then allows the call to go through. My internet email service shows that this call actually came from a New York number belonging to BERNETT RESEARCH (718) 504-9635. Low Risk, but a nuisance non-the-less.
