Grand parents scam on Grandson needing money. Found on internet did not answer

Called at 6:30am. No message.

Caller called my father in law and pretended to by my son away at college. He was "crying" and said he hit a pregnant women while driving drunk and was in jail for manslaughter. He said the baby died and he was in jail. 2 other calls followed saying they were lawyers and bail bondsmen demanding money. Very scaring and sad.

Guy called from this number - - sounded kinda young. Caller ID showed name of Hardisty. Called me by name and said he was my grandson (and gave a name). Actually, I have a grandson by the name he used, but I knew that was not his voice. Don't know what his intentions were, but I didn't wait to find out. I just "blocked" the number and hung up.

A man, asking for me by name called, sounding very upset said he was my oldest nephew. and he had gotten himself into trouble. I asked which nephew. He said it was John. I told him I don't have a nephew John and he should be ashamed of himself. He hung up. It did bother me that he knew my name.

caller claimed to be "my grandson." Really? I don't have one! It is a scam/prank call. Caller ID showed number but was labeled "Unavailable."

Phony call stating Hi Grandpa He knows other people in the house names. Scam Dangerous.

Has called multiple times during this past week, but leaves no message. This morning, when I answered, he said, "Good Morning, Grandma!" I said, "I'm not your Grandma; I'm not Grandma," and I hung up.

called claiming to be my oldest grandson. Sounded to be too old to be my grandson and he had a dialect that gave him away. Hung up on him.

Scam number, caller hangs up if you don't sound gullible. Deep voice of an older man, non-native English speaking.

This # called my mom saying it was her grandson. Lie. Caller ID showed Camrose AB.

Just got a call from, "Chris" who called me "Grandpa". I asked him what he wanted and he said that he was going to burn my house down and he gave me my address.

After confirming that he was NOT my grandson, I asked him to hold while I finished castrating the last scammer who had called me. He recited my address and said that he would burn down my house and kill me and my family. Lock and load.

If they call waste their time so they don’t go off to call another person who can possibly get scammed. If you have time to spare. I have no sympathy for people who scam elderly and especially if they are claiming injury or trouble of loved ones. This is horrible. I will waste as much time as I can make them feel they hooked me in. And just keep going in circles. DO NOT STEAL FROM hard working or retired folks. ITS JUST EVIL AND WRONG!!! I would hate to think my grandparents are being targeted because of their concern and age.

Calls every day. Leaves no message on Phone.

When I answered he acted as if he knew me and when I asked who is this he says (I thought) your grandson, I told him I don't have a grandson and he said "NO" your gay son and I said I don't have a gay son or otherwise and hung up.
