This number called my cell stating it was an IRS agent and they have received legal petition regarding tax fraud against me

I returned the call, when asked for my name I asked for theirs and not provided. I asked what branch of the government they work for and was told IRS. I stated I also work for the government. Phone disconnected immediately. Tried to call back and received nothing but dial tone, my number was blocked....

Saw a missed call on my phone, so I called back. Got a staticy line where a man, who sounded vaguely foreign, answered with "US Dept of *something* Registry. When I told him "Hi. This is Detective Ray *******, I am calling back a missed call I got." He hung up on me. I attempted to call the number back, again, from several phones, I got the beeping out of service sound.

This number called my cell stating it was an IRS agent and they have received legal petition regarding tax fraud against me and that I need to call the number before it goes to federal claims court or I get arrested. I have received nothing in writing from the IRS and would be the normal way they would contact you.

This # is associated with a scam. Recording from Officer St. Clair with the IRS & I need to call back immediately about important IRS mater's. IRS ONLY CONTACTS BY MAIL. PHONE CALLS & EMAILS ARE SCAMS. Phone # says it is not a working # when called back.
