Windows scam caller from Madras, OR

This number comes from a Joe Leggett. I did not answer because I do not know anyone by that name. I immediately researched it and found out it is a scam call. They apparently tell you they are from Microsoft and there is something wrong with your computer. They try to get you to turn it on and give them personal access information. SCAM! Please be careful and do not fall for this!!

Received call from this number yesterday. SCAM...now the microsoft windows frauds use other people's caller id. Give them goof until they hangup. I love to play stupid. I'm sick of these folks they have been calling for over 8 yrs at least once a month

With a heavy accent, insisted that we had a Windows 7 problem on our computers (we only have Macs). When I kept asking which one, he started cursing at me – calling me a MF, AH, ...

guy name joe leggett called and i told him to f off. he said the same to me. told the a hole that he was a scam artist. i gave him eough shit until he hung up on me.

Got a call from someone named Joe Leggett. He had an Indian accent. He said there something wrong with my computer. If we turned it on he will show us how to fix it. He said he was from the Windows Corporation.

Lady with heavy Indian accent said she worker for Microsoft and my computer had reported errors. I hungup. She called right back and asked why I hung up. She wanted me to go to my computer and she would show me the problem. I kept giving her the run around and she hung up. Just wanted to waste there time.

Calls all the time. We let it go to voice mail. Wish this was a cell number so I could block it.

Wants credit card info to fix your computer problems. SCAM do not cooperate.

This person with this phone number called me twice saying they were calling about my Windows program. First phone call "I said I didn't care who he was and to stop calling" The second phone call, I did not pick up.

This number just called and the Caller ID was Joe Leggett. It was a guy with a heavy accent. I let him tell me that he was calling about my computer problem and I said that that surprised me since I didn't own a computer! There was a pause, then they hung up.

A phone call from john saying there is a problem with computer and needed me to turn it on. He new my computer was off. Had been for several days. Spoke to another guy a week ago and he laughed at me when I told him off. when I went to my computer to finish work the computer some how was turned off. Not by me or another. They call almost everyday. Very pushy and wont let you get off phone. The sad thing is this is my dads computer and I think he gave them info. Unfortunately I can not ask my dad as he passed in Feb. How can I keep my computer private and safe?
