The caller, a man with a foreign accent, called, saying that my social security number had been used in fraudulent manner across the United States; and, before they (the "Social Security Agency") suspended my social security number permanently, I should call 512-991-8977. The United States Social Security Administration is located in Woodlawn, Maryland-- near Baltimore. Their real telephone number is 1-800-772-1213. |
