NEUTRAL	NEUTRAL over 7 years ago by BoPam I called this number last week because I was looking for a long lost uncle. I had looked the number up online. When I dialed the number I received a recording that the number had been disconnected. This morning at 8:35am, 9/11/2017, the phone rang while I was sleeping, I reached over picked it up and hung it up. When I got up I looked at the number and recognized it as that number that I had called. I looked the number up on the computer and it said it was a landline in New Orleans, LA, so I tried calling it. Again, I got the same recording, that the number had been disconnected. Weird.

I told them that it was hilarious to think that I'd be so dumb that I'd fall for such an obvious, stupid scam. The guy got all huffy and speechless and finally spit out "you - you are computer illiterate!" which must've been the best insult he could think of, then hung up. People who run scams like this are really just awful.
