Man called with an Indian/English accent and asked if we take credit cards and then asked if we take American Express and then hung up. Would not have thought much about it until I saw other posts from the same number asking the same question. Possible scam

A young lady with an English accent called asking if payment was accepted online. When asked what she was purchasing, she did not know and asked if Amex was accepted. Hung up after being told that it was not.

A hispanic lady called asking if we accept credit cards to pay for services. I asked what type of services she refered and then hang up.
