Strongly suspected scammer! The texter asked if I was still interested in a cabinet he had posted on OfferUp. I replied, "Yes." He replied with a phone number and a confusing response about him receiving so many responses to his ad that he was requiring any further communication to go off of DM through the OfferUp app. He sent a "code" to input to "unblock my number" and he would get back to me. Huh? For whatever reason, l couldn't block the number he sent on my iPhone. I replied, "I'm with the State of California Fraud department and will be monitoring your further activities." I didn't hear back from him. I don't know for sure if he is a scammer. I just chose not to deal with it anymore.
