I received a call from the number 315-465-0005, i actually missed the call but called back . The male on the phone advised me that i need to get a pen and take his info down. His name is Chris Simmons with Dept Legal Affairs Treasury badge#117195 advised his extension 019. He stated to express this is in reference to my tax return for 2015-2016, asked me who filed. He also knew my tax person info which made me more concerned. The bad part is that i had just received paperwork the day before and that led me to believe this call was True. However after being threnthen for tax evasion and expressed that an warrant will be issued for my arrest. The more he spoke (indian accent) the more i realized this could be a SCAM. I hung up and called back they kept hanging up over and over . Each time they sent to voicemail. I called from another number and Austin when asked what my name was i told him some random name and he started the same spill. THIS IS SPAMMMMM AND YOU SHOULD BLOCK YOUR NUMBER !!!! |
