Young Man called, asked if a Lawyer had called me that he was in big trouble and needed me to call this lawyer and give him a case number to arrange for bail. then went on and on about how he couldn't believe the lawyer hadn't called. I thought it was my grandson calling, so I asked is that you "called out my grandsons name" he said yes, I felt like something wasn't right and did not call the number. |

Big Scam. Someone calls from 314-625-5200 and knows who you are and pretends to be a grandson, knows their name and states been in accident, broken nose, that's why they sound that way and request you call the number and someone acts like their lawyer and wants bail, $7,800 CASH. We phoned a relative, sounded fishy so he called that person (who was supposed to be in jail). He was in school. The area code wasn't in their area so that's when he was called. VERY BIG SCAM. Scary thing is he knew who everyone was. |
