After several missed calls from this number (and no voicemails), I decided to pick up to see what they had to say. I pick up and decide to let them announce themselves before saying anything - I got nothing but silence. When a conversation finally took off, the woman was extremely rude and demanded to know if I was the person they were looking for... as if I was the one calling her at her home, after business hours! I equally demanded to know who she was and where she was calling from, of course she suddenly had trouble hearing me, so she repeated my question (poorly)... I was not sure if she meant for it to be a rhetorical question or if she was expecting me to say “yes” or “no” - to be clear, I reiterated my question concisely. She finally mumbled something about calling from “The Offices of Credit Management” and that it was regarding a personal business matter. After some more jagged back and forth, she concluded that if I wasn’t the person they were looking for then they will remove my phone number from their systems... I was so annoyed by her lack of basic manners and business etiquette, that I merely hit the end call button without saying anything further.
