called me and went through my online information from US Directory. Wanted to update my business information on Google through mobile devices. Wanted me to give him my debit card ingformation over the phone for $5.00. When i refused, he became very sales pressured and wanted to know what the problem was and said if I did not pay the five dollars they would keep calling me back every day until I did. |

Called me claiming to be from the US Business Directory. Wanted me to activate a business mobile account and pay over the phone right away. I told them to please send me information about the service as we don't make business decisions over the phone like that. The guy pressured me into the payment, threatening that if I didn't make the payment right then and there, our business information would be removed from the directory. Told him I'll take my chances and will "re-list" if the "removal" affects our business. |
