Same scenario as previously reported. $7000 is mine have to go thru Western Union or Walmart, but claim immediately after I call a number to confirm. Man was foreign speaking, hard to understand. I do not believe it to be real because someone from American, especially working for our government, would not have asked if my state was O R as in OH ARE....they would have said Oregon. Right? I am not calling to confirm as I believe this to be a hoax.

He said the same thing about a federal grant of 7000 and I could go to Walmart to pick it up. He told me his name was Zohm Barry ext: 105.

I answered a web page concerning federal grant money. Shortly I received a call and during the conversation, the number 253-392-6652 was given to me from a (fictitious name) person claiming I can receive a federal grant for $7,000 that I don't pay back. Gave me another fictitious person name to speak to and my ID# gave to me was the first two letters of my last name and three sequential numbers. Asked the caller if he was calling from the federal government as he claimed why did my caller ID say it was a private number. He changed the subject never answered. I have learned not to give any information to a caller beyond my name, address, and phone number. Preferably don't give a phone number.

Spam caller - there's no one there when you pick up.

Got a call from 2533926652 claiming that I got a $7,000 Federal Grant that I wouldn't have to pay back. All I would have to do is go to Walmart with $300 and purchase a gift card. Not sure if it was a scam or not but with my better judgment I didn't purchase the card and the dude on the list e got snippy and actually hung up on me for wasting his time. Sure sounded like a scam though
