Message stated my card was on file & would be charged for my subscription renewal and if I wanted to cancel the subscription, please call back. Representative was difficult to understand. Offered to renew my virus protection on home computer and needed to verify my credit card information - I don’t have a computer protection plan...

Stating my card on file would be charged for my subscription renewal and if I did not want that to happen, please call back to 208-722-0178. I did call back - Indian speaking lady answered - very difficult to understand. Looking to renew my virus protection on home computer and they need to verify my credit card information. When I asked what computer and what name the virus protection was under, they claimed to not have that information. I asked them to give me the last four (4) digits of the credit card they were looking to charge to verify it is indeed my card - didn't have that information either. Knew immediately it was a SCAMMER.

Robocall that I thought was legit for a magazine subscription that we actually do have, but the message was halfway cutoff with my voicemail, so I called back and that's when a foreign sounding operator tried to scam me.
