the call actually came to my son's phone. i called it back. Initially, a "man" said he was checking y account to see whats up... he was "typing" and "speaking" to me. It actually sounded real. When I asked repeatedly how he was "checking my account" and the call didnt even come on this number, he never took a breath or stopped talking. I realized then he wasnt a real person. He said I "had a creditor looking for me and they could help with the problem via debt relief. I kept trying to speak, but he never stopped talking; even when i repeatedly interrupted and tried to tell him the call didnt come on this number so what was he looking up? he said he was transferring me to an attorney to resolve the issue. Some "beeps" happened; sounding like he was typing in an extension. Then a recording came on advertising debt relief. I was going to stay on hold and request removal but she only gave me the option of agreeing to her terms and pushing certain numbers. If I agreed and/or stayed on the line, I was agreeing to them contacting me via text, phone, email, usmail, etc. I just hung up. Man, these places are getting sophisticated.
