For computer maintenance? Automatic deduction of $299 from bank account? Say they can be reached at 202-873-2578, (claiming to be a toll-free number). Scam

202.873.2578 call stating they are from the Microsoft and my subscription is expiring. So go to the computer and turn it on.

Indian accent says to call to cancel subscription and call will be recorded.

Foreign accent, said from Microsoft. They would “take” $299 from my bank account if I did not call back to cancel account! MicRosoft, theyare using your name; you need to get off your butts and go to the media this is a SCAM!!!

As like complaints from others, caller with Indian accent said my bank account would be charged $299 unless I called back to cancel some sort of computer subscription.

VM stating I needed to call this number back

This number had repeatedly called me saying I need to call them at a different number in order to pay off my computer service (a service I do not own).

SCAM call: Said that they will take $290 out of my bank account unless I call them to cancel the service. No name of the service. They also did not ask for me or anyone else in the house.

Recording said Microsoft will take $299.00 from my bank account if I do not call them back and tell them I do not want this service. Never said what service. No way to recall number on my cell phone. 202 is a NY or NJ area code.

Unidentified Caller recording request call back long distance on recorded line. Maybe has voice biometric recording device which I do not use with my banks. Maybe use data charges to your phone somehow don’t know did not leave message why they needed a return call obviously it’s a scammer.
