I check on my COX site, this number appears beneath every incoming call I receive, this has been going on for many months. The phone only rings a short time. All hours of the day,At least 3 times daily.

I should add, that the phone will only ring once when signed up to the 'nomorobo' service and you receive a spam call.. this is how the system works.

This is the number used by a service called 'nomorobo' provided to cox voice users by a 3rd party. When signed up to the service there is a 'simultaneous ring' that shows as an outgoing call to this number for each incoming call so they can scan for, and block, spam calls. If you see this number it should be an 'outgoing' call, it shouldn't be calling you, or something is not set up right.. ...check the 'voice tools' on cox website for this function...

This number has been blocked but I get at least two calls a day and it just rings once.

This number keeps calling but it is attached to a different number that has no significance. Strange names, etc. I consider this unsafe due to the strange connection to many random numbers.

Even though my phone company blocks certain calls, my phone rings once and the call is blocked,no name appears on the caller I.D.I checked on my Cox web site, this number calls numerous times ( 7 times on 11/29/22 Twice already today. They call daily.
